Regeneron ISEF is the world's largest pre-college STEM competition. For more than 70 years, thousands of students from affiliated science fair networks have explored their passion for scientific inquiry at the world’s largest global science competition for high schoolers, the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). Each year, students from more than 75 countries, regions, and territories compete in ISEF across 21 different STEM disciplines.
In 2024, the following 03 students have participated at ISEF 2024 representing Sri Lanka which was held from 11th to 17th May 2024 in Los Angeles, California, USA, being the national winners of the Sri Lanka Science and Engineering Fair (SLSEF).
The National Science Foundation is pleased to announce that the Sri Lankan team has secured awards at the ISEF as follows.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) and the Ministry of Education organizes the Sri Lanka Science and Engineering Fair (SLSEF) annually with the objective of enhancing the innovative thinking, creativity and investigative ability amongst the school children in the country. National level winners of the SLSEF are eligible to represent Sri Lanka at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) which is held in USA.
The SLSEF 2024 was successfully held on 13th March 2024 at the main auditorium of the IESL. Twenty participants competed at the SLSEF and a selection panel comprising of eminent scientists/ academics and engineers evaluated the competition and selected three projects to compete at the Regeneron ISEF.
