The Technical Launch of Sri Lanka's National Policy on Traditional Medicine was held on September 18, 2014, at auditorium of the Ministry of Health. Dr Sepalika Sudasinghe, Director General of the National Science Foundation (NSF) who was the Chairperson of the Policy Drafting Committee, delivered a presentation on "Introduction to the National Policy for the Traditional Medical Systems of Sri Lanka." The event was graced by the Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Chairman of the National Science and Technology Commission, Government officials and Experts in the field.
